Early detection can save lives. Many signs are subtle and painless, so it’s important to stay aware of changes in your body.
⚠️ 1. A Lump in the Breast or Underarm
Often the most common early sign
May feel hard, irregular, and painless
⚠️ 2. Change in Breast Size or Shape
One breast becoming noticeably different
Swelling or shrinking without clear reason
⚠️ 3. Skin Dimpling or Puckering
Skin may look like orange peel
Can indicate underlying tissue changes
⚠️ 4. Nipple Changes
Turning inward (inversion)
Change in position or shape
⚠️ 5. Unusual Nipple Discharge
Especially if bloody or clear
Not related to breastfeeding
⚠️ 6. Redness or Rash on the Breast
Persistent irritation or scaling
May resemble eczema but doesn’t heal
⚠️ 7. Pain in the Breast or Nipple
Not always present, but unexplained pain should be checked
