Here are 6 common warning symptoms of ovarian cancer.
These signs are often silent and ignored, especially in early stages.
1. Constant bloating or swelling of the stomach
If your belly feels full, tight, or swollen almost every day and it does not go away, this can be an early warning sign.
2. Pain in the lower stomach or pelvic area
Ongoing pain or pressure in the lower abdomen or pelvis (not related to periods) should not be ignored.
3. Feeling full very quickly when eating
If you start eating and feel full after only a few bites, this can be a serious sign.
4. Frequent or urgent need to urinate
Going to the toilet more often than usual, or suddenly needing to rush, can be linked to ovarian cancer.
5. Unexplained weight loss or weight gain in the belly
Losing weight without trying — or gaining weight mainly around the stomach — can be a warning sign.
6. Ongoing fatigue and low energy
Feeling unusually tired all the time, even after rest, may be linked to serious illness.
👉 Important note:
If any of these symptoms last for more than 2–3 weeks, or keep getting worse, it is very important to see a doctor as soon as possible.
Early detection of ovarian cancer can save lives.
