
A mini stroke, medically called a Transient Ischemic Attack, happens when blood flow to part of the brain is briefly blocked.
Even if symptoms go away quickly, it’s a serious warning sign of a possible major stroke.
🧠 1. Sudden Weakness on One Side
Face, arm, or leg may feel weak or numb
Often affects one side of the body
The person may struggle to lift one arm
🗣️ 2. Trouble Speaking or Understanding
Speech becomes slurred or unclear
Difficulty finding words or understanding others
May sound confused or disoriented
👁️ 3. Sudden Vision Problems
Blurred or double vision
Sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes
🚶 4. Loss of Balance or Coordination
Dizziness or unsteady walking
Trouble with coordination
Increased risk of falling
🤕 5. Sudden Severe Headache
A strong headache with no known cause
Can appear suddenly and feel unusual
🚨 Important: Act FAST
Even if symptoms last only a few minutes, do not ignore them.
A mini stroke is often a warning before a full stroke.
Remember the FAST method:
F – Face drooping
A – Arm weakness
S – Speech difficulty
T – Time to seek medical help immediately
